I bought the deep frames in Ikea and then used foam board to create 'shelves inside' the frame, then used 'blu-tac' to stand them up. It was such a hassle and the frames only come in small sizes that fit around 6 figures. I am gonna do something else with those, go back and get more of the kid friendly NYTTJA frames and glue the blocks on the front. Love this idea, just thought it was a bust! VanessaThe Fullershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14446705212410217588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1583330390100516006.post-22209296228978203752011-12-27T16:00:19.174+13:002011-12-27T16:00:19.174+13:00hello fullers! the spacing for this one is random...hello fullers! the spacing for this one is random :) we attached each of the white bricks to a lego minifig and then scattered them about until the spacing works. for ben's one, we did his lined and the bottom of each brick is 3" away from the bottom of the next brick going vertically. horizontally the start of each brick is 1 3/4" away from the start of the next brick. we allowed for a bit of extra room between them for the minifig's bits (swords, tennis rackets, boom boxes etc!). as for adhesive we used a glass araldite and then made sure the kids didn't put any lego minifigs on for a WEEK! that week make or breaks the bond, if you can stop them from using it for a week the bond is super strong and doesn't break :) none of ben's have fallen off and there is a constant change of minifigs, this has been one of my favourite creations as it works so well for storage and decor in ben and polly's room ... sam and isla still have there's and my sister still loves them too :)Kirsty, New Zealandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08502752740306593908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1583330390100516006.post-79502577860915726432011-12-27T15:00:12.758+13:002011-12-27T15:00:12.758+13:00I would love to know the spacing on these.
